Is it too early to chuck out 24/7??

Having problems as I have possibly found a new horse yet my yard has no free stables!!
I love the yard and dont want to mov e...however I also like the horse and dont want to loose it!!

I have asked YO to let me put second horse on grass livery however I am not sure about leaving her out alone. My other horse has always come in at night however is a hardy little thing? I could leave him out with new horse but YO isnt keen!

I did have a stable lined up before I viewed horse but other livery decided not to leave last second.

Argh!
Is the only other soloution to move yards? :(
 
My 20yr old TB mare is out 24/7 she has next to no winter coat, (never had to clip) I just feed her hay twice a day and feed (senior mix, beet and chaff) along with her supplements. Ensure you have some decent rugs if they need it but I'm sure they'll be fine. Its my first winter with my mare out 24/7, and she looks fat!!! Definetly best to keep both out though so that the other one doesn't fret.
 
I always shove new horses straight out on 24/7 turnout all year. I would put them out, unless you want to move! Only an old cob is stabled, all the rest including tbs/warmbloods are out and healthy!
 
I would like to leave them out but YO is not happy about it at all, I need to try and convince her but not sure how successful it will be! :)
 
with appropriate shelter/rugging should be ok. Easy for me to say as mine live out anyway. Only have two stabled horses at the moment - one is a frail little rescue and the other an ancient TB ...
 
If your YO doesn't want them out then it doesn't really matter whether they could cope or not (they could!). Sounds like you need to look for another yard...
 
If YO will let you I'd sling them out. I would love to have Nitty out all the time (she's a TB). That's what rugs are for. Plenty of hay and rugs and they'd be fine. Even BH will stay out as long as the hay lasts and he is an absolute wimp!
 
With proper shelter and food, preferably adlib hay/haylege they will be absolutely fine - cold temps or no.

Its colder inside a stable than out as the air is stationary and they are generally on concrete which is like standing on a block of ice when temps are low!.
