Is it too hot to ride?

Hello,
I’m new here and this is my first post so pls forgive any mistakes :D
so I live in the highlands where temperatures rarely exceed 20 degrees... I’m trying to get my pony fit after a long spell of. I’m a beginner rider so any help is useful. He is overweight and unfit :confused: I’m wondering what temperatures r ok to ride in. We won’t be doing much to begin with. Thx lots
Also, I think I attached a photo of him. I’m not sure if u can see it!

I think you’ll be fine with 20 degrees :D. In in the southwest we reached mid 30’s and I wouldn’t ride then (for both me and my horse) but I’m happy to ride out in mid 20’s
