Is it too late to spray dock?

I've recently started renting my own place and the pasture hasn't been managed particularly well in the past. I have a serious dock problem along with alot of nettles, thistles and various other weeds.

Is it too late in the year to get someone to spray it for me?

Yes, it is. Spraying will knock them back a bit but not kill them. Better to just get them topped off and spray as soon as they come through in the spring.

Thanks I'm going to rest the paddock that is worst over winter as I think alot of the problem was overgrazing. Do I still top it if I'm resting the field?

NO it is not to late to spray. choose a bright sunny day and spray. you will still have to spray in the spring! but the docks and nettles will be reduced with an autumnal spray!
