Is it too late to spray kill ragwort.

My farmer hasn't yet been able to spray my field, hay making duties I guess, and I'm wondering if its getting too late to do it now.

Some of the flowers are on the turn now and I'm wondering if it'd be best to do it in the spring next year.

Any thoughts.

Mostly a waste of time now. Pull all the flowering plants now and spray the remaining rosettes at the beginning of September. This is a good publication for advise

Thankyou very much for that site - I have printed off the details. It looks like I'd be better to wait until spring next year to get the flowers and new seeds.
