....to miss my old horse (who i sold because neither of us were benefiting) an insane amount, and compare all his best points to new horses that i go to view?

Onwards and upwards! They are all lovely in their own ways. It must be hard to part with a horse as you invest so much time and emotion in them.

Aaw, he's adorable! (although the second photo nearly gave me a heart attack because it is IDENTICAL to my horse lol)

If you weren't right for each other then it was probably the best thing for you both - but it's perfectly normal to miss him
