Am considering writing to a previous owner of Tenino who i lost last week to see if he has any information on who the fillies sire is.

Feel really bad though as got to break the news that she is no longer with us but i really want to know who the sire is. It says in the passport that he signed for ownership in passport on 17/10/08 so as the filly was born in summer 09 im thinking he should know who the sire is.

Do you think its worth a shot?

I am guessing the owner would know and I am sure you would approach the subject in a sensitive manner. Is there another way you could search first before you ask previous owner?

I am sorry to hear that she's not with us anymore

Thank you, the man listed in the passport is the only hope i've got of finding out. I can have her registered part bred with British Appaloosa Society as the mares grand sire was registered with them but if i want he registered with APHC Uk then i need to know information of the sire. I would approach it with a very sensitive manner but i dont know whether it is really the right thing to do.
