Is loose poo a sign of foaling????

Hannah is very quiet today, huge bag (it's all stretched) and has very loose poo. She is NEVER loose, in all the time I have owned her it has only happened twice.

Someone said it can be a sign of foaling, but I was not so sure!

I am so very excited about Hannah's foal. I think it stems from the regular updates along the way. Almost feel "involved" somehow.

Both are charged because I had a lesson this afternoon with Grace...

She has still not showed any signs of waxing up yet though but her bag is just huge!

I still don't think it will be tonight as she is still not running milk or waxed up, but I certainly think she is getting ready. I am going checking on her tonight a few times I think, just to make sure is ok!

I have thought of a few names, but no decisions are being made until I see the little thing and it is ok.

For a colt I like Saracen, Apollo, Duke and Rupert (have some others but can't remember them).

For a filly I like Thyme and Millie

My little welsh mare which was in foal went into her box one night with a small bag and looked no different than usual. The next morning there was a baby! They can bag up, wax up and foal in a short space of time so it may well be tonight

That is such a lovely name!!! Love it! I much prefer Thyme than Millie- such a common name, although it is nice.

We nearly called our dog Thyme, not sure why we didn't but now I know why. Because it was supposed to be my foalie's name if it was a girlie.
