well a so called 'friend' has told me my beloved horse is too thin. In fact she's being quite nasty about it. i really don't agree. so would like people's opinions on here (although unless these opinions agree with my thoughts, i will completely disregard them throw my toys out of the pram and call you all cyber bullies :) )

He's called thunder and I've had him for 20 years. He still looks the same now as he did 20 years ago I reckon.

been so long since i've posted on here i've forgotten how to do the pics properly, sorry :P

He looks in great condition, your 'friend' clearly isn't knowledgeable enough about horses! He looks in show condition to me, you must be very proud to have kept him so well for so many years!!

Tee, Hee :D

Personally, I think your horse looks in fine condition for a veteran but please bear in mind that I probably know very little as I have a post count of less than 200 ;)

yes you don't qualify as knowing anything about horses until you break the 1000 post mark am afraid ;)

I don't think he is too thin, it is just that his head is set on wrong and is a little big for the rest of him and this makes his body look a little 'weedy', but that tends to be typical of that breed - I must say he is very typy is he by Hopalong?

That's what I thought. I'm going to start posting replies to all threads from now on, even when I have nothing to say or know nothing about the subject, so that I can increase my knowledge.

I might even take a week off work so I "learn" faster!

I do think he might be a bit small for you now though.......

That's exactly what I did and look at me now, a pure horse expert :D you'll get there soon, keep at it

Well, I have to say that I am disgusted that your horse is so thin. I would stick to knitting as a hobby if I were you!!
