no!!! You risk really messing up your blades and overheating your clipper motor, just not worth the saving.
The oil is really important as it keeps the friction down on the blades. Different grades of oil work for different application. So no other oil, no WD 40, no surgical spirt etc - just use clipper oil.
no, it isnt designed for motorised products and wont have the same components as clipping oil has which lubricates the blades. You'll probably end up over heating the blades and ruiening them, stick with clipping oil
