ok last year in march i bought my filly we do not know what breed she is but when she was 9 months old she was 11.1hh and now she is 2 and only 13.2hh and i want her to be at least 14hh but my trainer says that horses stop growing at 2 and so she is done growing :( is that true? I dont know if this madders but the people she was at before the people we bought her from got her were breeders and when she was born they got her mom pregnant right after so. We do not know who her dad was but her mom was 15hh so....

Horses definitely don't stop growing at 2, a lot of breeds dont mature fully until 5 years old, some don't stop until they are 7 or 8. I would assume your filly will make 14hh if she's 13.2hh at 2 years old. Sounds like you might need a new trainer

Sekaya123 your filly will certainly grow quite a bit and you will notice her bum being higher than her front end at times. I'm sure she should make at least 14hh as the majority of horses and ponies don't finish growing until they are around 5 years old - their spine and neck don't finish developing until around 7yrs
