Hi All
I am new to this forum so please excuse me if i get things a bit wrong, right heres my problem.
Back in february i bought a 13.3 apaloosa cross B mare, needed some work which was fine, but pony kind.
After a short while we discovered she didnt like being on her own and completly freaks out if she cant see her field mate so i have looked up ' separation anxiety' and we are working on that, so then up pops next problem.
Sudden weight gain - had vet out didnt think she was in foal, following month had vet back as i thought she was going to pop !!
vet took one look and said she was in foal, did bloods to double check - Negative !!
Pony is still huge and vet still thinks she is in foal - no internal - we really dont know
right so after all that waffle - has anyone ever had a blood test come back negative and found the horse to still be in foal and does anyone have any ideas what it could be if it isnt in foal??
many Thanks
