She cut herself yesterday and got all stitched up this morning.

She's had some pain killers but she's still really upset and constantly crying (quietly), and doesn't really want to move around.

It is a nasty cut but I'm just wondering if this is normal?? She is worrying me a bit.

If you are worried i would give your vet a quick call just to check. It does sound as though she isn't quite comfortable and they can hopefully give you some advice to help her settle down overnight, hope she's OK and gets better soon

SB I would say it's normal she is pretty thin skinned and not the hardiest of breeds, she is prob feeling a little sore, she sound like my whippet after one of her usual self mutilation sessions in the field, she is fine till she ets home and the wounds begin to dry and obs get tighter and hurt when moving.

Thanks C. I'm getting a bit stressed out because we both have to work so she in on her own (dog walker been to see her twice) and she has taken her patch off. Hope stitches are still in tact when I get home!

Going to go back down to vets and get her another dressing and a lamp shade.
