Absolutely fab! Bit pricey at £220+ but well worth it. Brought my lad one for his christmas pressie last year. It doesn't rub or move and kept him nice and warm and dry all winter. Being able to buy and change the liners is brilliant as it means you can practically use the rug all year round (so in my opinion validates the money!). Only weird thing I've found is the 300g liner that comes with it originally doesn't have the leg arches cut out so gets a bit muddy but the seperate liners do have the arches cut so fit better.

I'd recommend and would def buy again if need be! (hopefully not yet though cos his isn't a year old yet, planning on it lasting much much longer than that!!!)

Fabulous. We have three horses in them at my yard - and I have just ordered one for Thumper.

Got mine on line for well under £200.00.

Basically if it's got the name Rambo on it - then it's great in my opinion.

My friend has one and raves about it. I'm with AmyMay though, anything with 'Rambo' on it is good! I think the price is ok TBH, considering it'd cost far more to buy two Rambo (or other good quality) 100g and 400g rugs with detachable necks, and more than the £30-£35 it costs to buy new liners, to buy a 200g and a 300g rug! Plus washing it is cheaper too... pays for itself IMO!

Ive had mine for a while now and am very pleased with it even though it costs a bit wouldnt change it for anything else now

Oh I wish you hadn't posted that now, I really want one

really good, but i also think that anything by horseware is great
rambo due is lovely, and i got mine for 180 which was even better

I absolutly love mine..

The only repairs that needed doing is a rip in the neck cover on the inner lining and the binding on the tail flap had come off a bit.

Would definatly get another although I dont really need one as it does a really good job.

So is the outer totally waterproof? I know someone with one but it leaked like hell but sounds like it could have been a dodgy one.

Also, does the neck cover have any filling in it??

Am almost there with deciding to buy one online, but just need these 2 queries squashed!

Must of been a faulty one - I bought mine when they first came out and it's been a brilliant rug. I've also bought the separate liners - it's the only rug I use/need now.

The neck cover has some fill in it - not sure what the weight is though.

Mines never leaked and the neck cover does have a lining and some filling in it.

Its enough to keep my soppy mare warm.

In the etreme winter I just but a light stable rug underneath as I havent got round to getting a heavier under rug to go with it.
