Is there a horsey virus going round in SE??

Just wondering, as Stars not right at the moment, very lethargic and a bit down in the dumps

she seems depressed...apparently there are some others on the yard the same and somone has even gotten blood test done....

What could it be? Or is there a virus??

Ive had a horse at mine with a bit of a virus and gadget had it earlier this year i got some antibiotics from the vet and all seemed fine xx

Sounds like a virus, there was one floating around our way a few weeks ago.

round us in Oct. - couple of days off colour - couple of them coughed for one day - different couple had minor snots for one day

assumed virus, did nothing but monitor, better in about 3 days and totally better in about 10 days.

never off their grub at any time.

My mare was like that after the floods - she had a week on antibiotics and she was back to her normal self again.

A couple of our riding school ponies are a bit off colour at the moment. One of the horses looked to be a bit colicky too, so I think there's definitely something going round.
