just been at the suffolk show for 2 days - fantastic show so busy watching classes we didnt really have time to shop - not very SATC of me. BUT did look at the dubarrys - i honestly wore my old ones to death, the sole and heel wore out before the boot - then i got a pair of *different boots* - NOT the cheap copies and nearly as expensive and they were lovely but lasted about a year and then the inside kind of collapsed and trapped my foot. i thought id get some rm williams - we all had those after our gap year and i wasnt even riding then but they cost a fortune now! for a short boot! i want something i can just put on every morning if im riding doing the school run or taking tash to a show.

I have a pair of Ariat Conistons (about £180 on line) and I can honestly say they are the most comfortable pair of boots I've ever had. Great for riding in but polish up well enough to be worn with jeans for walking and days out.

I'm currently wearing some country boots I found in the sale from Crew Clothing for £75.00. They are holding up really well to the abuse I am giving them . What about Tuffa Suffolk Boots? These are all long ones BTW.

As for RM Williams boots, well I've never ridden in mine, but they are virtually indestructible - I just keep on getting my several pairs re-soled and re-heeled as they need it.
