...to get the plastic wrappers off lickits?
I've just snapped nearly all my fingernails trying to get the plastic wrapper off - took ages, breaking tiny bits of plastic off at a time. Does anyone have the knack how to open them up? I'm sure the manufacturers could find an easier way of packaging them.

They are an utter nightmare!

I get a pair of scissors and cut the plastic from top to bottom 3 times around the outside. Can usually get them off in four pieces! Although it does take me longer to unwrap one than it takes Star to eat it!

Here's a tip - never ever use your car keys to shove down the side and split the plastic off. The resultant lickit residue on the keys that you forget to wipe off will gunk up your car's ignition and leave you stranded at the yard until someone comes by with some WD40

Ummmm i think the answer to that is no lol!

I takes me about 30mins every time! I real nightmare and then the horses just gouble (sp) them down like no tomorow!

last time I tried to open one I ended up with a likit covered in blood as I managed to slice 2 fingers open with the scissors - ouch. Why can't they just wrap them in plastic film??

I just give them to my horse while hes on the yard and he seems to get them out super fast. then i take the plastic off him and put him and said lickit in the stable!

Saves fingernails then!

I stick a knife down the side where the tab bit is, then pull the knife to the side like a lever, it splits the plastic open, can then take it off in one or two pieces, then push the likit on the ground where the palstic nobble is and it just pops out the top. Takes about 30 seconds! Haven't yet injured myself and I am a clumsy oaf.
