as the title says i find it really hard to un-do a likit?? I break nails, spend ages pulling off the plastic cover which hurts my fingers and is very frustrating...
anyone have an easy way of doing it...?

i know they are a nightmare! what i tend to do is get a knife and run it round the egde, then cut down the plastic around the likit then pull it off and it seems to work quite easily.

I have cut my fingers under the nail opening these things and it was f'ing painful! Likits must have the worst packaging of any product.

Next time, I will try the angle grinder!

Same here or take the top off run a knife round the edge and give it a knock on the floor open side facing the floor and it drops out.

Oooh I'll read replies on here with interest, maybe we shoudl all petition likkit, I just thought it was me!!

take the lid off, place it upside down on a hard surface [eg concrete] and hit the top with someithing hard like a hammer or a stone. That makes it fall out after a few hits, works for me anyway

Flick the lid off, then use a knife to cut plastic from top to bottom on opposite sides. Then tear plastic (should come away quite easily) and bang onto a hard surface to get the middle plastic bit to come out!

Or buy a Boredom Breaker and just use Little Likits; you only have to take the top off them!

Have pretty much given up on them after taking a huge slice off my finger with the last one bled for ages!! blood all over stable floor yeuck!!

I have also given up, take me about 30mins to open it and get it up, he gets it down in about 30secs and eats it in 5mins . I now use swedes instead, they last a bit longer than 5mins aswell

Class action suit, claiming for injuries, plus emotional trauma.

Exactly! I can undo them nearly as fast as LU can eat them - which reminds me, do NOT attempt to undo them within reach of a 4yo welsh cob unless you like being slobbered on, half climbed on & squeaked at

I spent ages opening mine - cut myself, squashed the lickit, bits of plastic going everywhere... Then my blooming mare didn't like it!!
