Is there any way to check if its a 600/100/1200D rug?

My friend has an Amigo sheet for sale, she only wants £15 for it, good as new. But I won't bother if its only 600D, I would like it to be fully waterproof not just showerproof. Is there anyway to tell as it has no labels left on it? Thanks in advance! :)

Most of the 1200d ones are navy. The 600d ones are pretty good for only 600d though. If you have a 1200 and a 600 next to each other, you can feel that the 1200 is thicker material.

Hmmmmm, this one is a grey colour. Lovely rug and at a guess I'd say it was more like a 1000/1200D but just wondered if there were any tests I could do! Thanks!

How old is it? Back in approx 2006 they had a grey bound lemon that was 1200d - I bought one for CM (see photo). The lemon binding isn't very yellow.

Its really hard to tell these things. I have a number of rugs I have collected over the years and I keep forgetting what's what when it comes to weight and also whetehr they have been reproofed or not! So I am keeping everything written down now in a notebook in my manger so I can refer back to it.

Problem is, knowing me, I will lose the notebook!

Faracat: Its definitely not as old as 2006, looks identical to that one though! It was bought for a horse in the last two years, not sure when.

AppleCart: Luckily I only own one horse and 5 rugs so can remember what they all are ;) but the note book is a good idea!

GinaGem: Couldn't find a label on it anywhere! Don't know why.... I'm going to ask the girl this evening when I see her if she has any idea what it is/ what happened to the label but knowing her she probably doesn't!

I don't usually bother with 600d turn outs for Pete, but like you bought a second hand Amigo of 600d as a spare to his 1200d & I've been impressed with both of them :-) X
