Hi,
A few weeks ago my horse was kicked in the field which left a cut that got cellulitis. This has now healed up but left a solid lump and a lot of scar tissue.
My vet was up to see my horse today to be lunged and trotted up, and he came up very lame on one rein on the leg he got kicked which my vet thinks could be caused by the scar tissue which has built up around the suspensory ligament causing him pain.
Vet has suggested lots of in hand walking in straight lines for the next few weeks to see if that helps, but is there anything else I can do to help get rid of the scar tissue (e.g. Supplements, boots, bandaging etc...)?
