as title,dont want to have to import from US if avoidable.....
is there anywhere you can buy UlcerGuard in the UK?

Its not licenced for use in the UK so no, you cnnot buy it here. If you import it, it may get confiscated at customs also.

There is GastroGuard in the UK, not sure if it's the same thing though?

If the ulcerguard you are on about is the same one we have in Australia.. the drug in it is ranitidine (not sure i spelt it right.)... you have to give it 3 times a day for it to have an effect and its quite a big dose...- about 15mls per dose for a 600kg horse - that's just off the top of my head.. don't quote me on the actual dose.
Omoguard (gastroguard) is more effective and although more expensive.. in the long run is probably more cost effective as for a 600kg horse you give 6mls! - the drug in that is omeprazole.
i don't no anywhere in uk that just sells ulcerguard.. but ask your vets about the ranitidine
