last night you might have seen my post about my boy being an idiot, i just thought it was because it was really windy and the races were on across the road. but he is the same tonight.

he is really clingy wants to be by your side the whole time. keeps sniffing the air and doing strange squeaks. he has a few lumps on his neck which we think is bites. he seems down laterly and i have noticed his poo has gone a yellowy colour. oh and he is drinking alot of water

i haven't call the vet yet because he isn't off his food. and seems healthy though if he is still ike this tomorrow i think i will to get a blood test to be on the safe side.

but does this sound like there is something wrong?

have you fed anything different? I would be concerned about a change in poo colour if the feed was completely the same. Maybe worth a ring to the vet to see if they think it's worth them coming out.

It may be the weather, all of ours are acting a bit differntly, but the change in poo sounds a bit strange, could be nothing but I would get a vet to check

ust a long shot. Have you any apple trees near to his grazing? I know this sounds a bit whacky but I have heard of horses that have more than their fill of them and this time of year they are fermenting. Makes them goo a bit funny and they get the squits.

A bit drunk!!!

There isnt an Acorn tree near his grazing is there? They are not good for horses, we have to acorn pick each day at our yard because one overhangs one of the pastures, they can really make a horse sick if they eat them, just a thought, the last few days wind has made them drop in their thousands!!!!
