Is this a good sign?

I can't decide whether the behaviour my horses are displaying is good or not.
My 2 TB's are on a field with plenty of grass but wet. Directly next to their field on one long side is my little mare & on the short side is my 2 liveries. All of the horses are living out. The fields have good thick hedges & overhanging trees for shelter. They are rugged according to weather & given haylage twice a day.
Now this is my query. They never seem that bothered by their hard feed (they are fed twice a day & it's a fibre based meal). They are never waiting at the gate & feed times are all very polite with no argy bargy or aggression shown.
In fact when they see me coming they usually just give a little 'hello' whinney then either stay where they are chatting up the livery horses or grazing until they see me come in the field. The boss horse then meanders over to where I feed him & once he's got his bucket the 2nd boy wanders over for his. They both eat it all.
I'm used to feed times usually being quite fraught & up until recently even going into the field with these 2 would involve horse 1 trotting up & down the fence when food was coming & me shoving him away as he tried to grab at the buckets in my hands.
I don't understand what has caused this sudden behaviour change. Does it mean that they are just very chilled now? And if so do I risk bringing them in at night, & potentially upsetting them, as was my plan for this weekend?

I think they are happy and contended with life, have enough grass and are not cold or hungry.

So it nothing to worry about, a happy situation..

It may change if you start bringing them in, but if you have to just try to make it a gentle change.
