Hi, I phoned someone yesterday for a price, she charges £7.50 for a wash, £2.50 for reproofing, so basically £10 for a wash and re proof, and an extra £2.50 if its a combo? I am in Lincolnshire by the way, if that makes a difference?
Thanks Kate

I used to pay about £7-8 for a wash and doubled if it was re proofed. Was only charged extra for a neck if it was detachable. Sounds very reasonable to me :)

Derby House had Weathebeeta MW combo rugs in their sale for £57 -if it is close to £20 for a wash and reproof you can see why people just buy new rugs every couple of years!

Did you check what products they used? I clean rugs, and I mean they are washed until clean whether it takes 2 or 3 washes and the straps get a jet wash too for stubborn mud/marks. I use Nikwax and Nuumed products and charge £16.50 for wash and re-proof, £10.50 just for a wash for turnouts. I have kept my prices unchanged now for the last 2 yrs to try and keep costs down for customers.

£8.50 for a wash and reproof of a neckless rug. That includes pick up and delivery. Im in the north east :-)
