Is this a reasonable Price?

I've recently started sharing my horse. He was diagnosed with mild arthritic changes to the pasterns late last year and has had quite a while off work, however, he is now being lightly ridden each day, although not allowed to jump anymore or do prolonged fast work.

I advertised for an adult sharer for him, three days a week. I was upfront from the start about his arthritis as I didn't want to mislead anyone as to what his capabilities were.

He's a full livery horse (approximate cost to me per month inclusive of everything - farrier etc. of £800.00)

I am asking for a contribution of £100.00 per calendar month for a three day per week share, to include one weekend day. He is on a yard with excellent facilities - indoor/outdoor schools etc and obviously no mucking out or other stable duties.

Do you think this is a fair price to ask?

I would say very fair as well, they're getting him almost half of the time, and paying much less than half the money.

More than fare when you think of how much people spend to have lessons. £25 per week is pretty good for someone just wanting to do some light hacking.
