Is this a splint??

B pulled a shoe off in the field on Thursday, he wasnt being a tit, probably did it getting up from rolling or something equally dim! When I came up to the yard I checked his legs and found this! is it a splint?? Its not hot, he is not lame at all and its not tender etc.

I have been rubbing witch hazel into it, but its not got any smaller/bigger, so not sure really what to make of it!!

Looks like it might be but could also be a knock. Hope he's better soon.

Does look like it to me. Not all horses go lame from splints or even really notice in anyway that they have just got one. Also could be a knock but then I'd of thought there would of been heat
