No, I'd say right fore coming up short and both hinds stiff/dragging.

Doesnt look sound to me, looks uncomfortable through back and pelvis, looks short behind, mainly on off hind that i could see, interestingly seemss to have a reasonable amount of muscle, so wonder if this is a recent thing ?

I thought the off hind looked worse too. And looked stiff and uncomfortable in the back.

Any history on the horse?

No, I'd say it was unsound in both hinds (one noticeably worse) but also bilaterally in front.

i just found these videos and wondered how i had missed her stiffness. they are from august 2011, rosie was pts in november 2011 as she damaged her achilies tendon and then blew it completely.
judging by these videos it seems the first damage to the tendon could have been caused by this offness or it could have been an early sign!
i just wanted to ask others oppinions as i thought i was just seeing things but obviously not

Really quite short in the off hind. Mind you my mare 'can' look a little like this in the same leg but less noticeable, only in walk, trot is beautiful and canter is balanced. She jumps and hacks and is very happy to work. We can't find anything wrong and she hasn't had any degeneration. She loses the very slight stiffness when worked daily and it's only my eyes that can see it. Others just think it is Clydie legs (which she does have). Back is fine, back lady was most impressed with her out of all on the yard when she last visited.

Has this horse been out of work, always shown this stiffness? What's the story?
