I was travelling on the motorway yesterday without trailer when I saw a range rover with a trailer behind me ,I was doing a steady 70mph in inside lane and was surprised to find the vehicle and trailer overtake me and go away from me, there was a horse in the back and a carriage on the front of the trailer ,I thought the speed limit for a trailer was 50mph ,am I wrong ?I just thought it very dangerous and he has obviously not been thinking of the dangers .
 
I've been passed on the motorway before by a 4x4 towing a trailer with a horse inside and a trap attached on the back.......it was doing in excess of 90mph - I know it was doing in excess of that because I was driving too fast myself, although in my car, not the horsebox!!
