Is this normal - drinking and wee-ing habits

I have noticed the last few times I have lunged my horse, when you take her back into her stable, she goes immediately to the drinker and drinks a fair bit. She is lunged for max 10 mins in trot with appropriate warm up and cool down so not too much work. She's not on DIY so I dont see her loads, but I've never really seen her drinking apart from after the exercise.

After Iunged her on Monday, and she'd had a drink, she was "squatting" for a wee, but was there a while, and not much came out. She has however just had a caslicks operation, So she could just be getting used to the reduced space to wee out of!

Any thoughts would be appreciated... Is this normal?

Ime drinking after exercise is pretty normal. Not so much the squatting, but given the circumstances I wouldn't be overly worried. I'd just keep an eye on it; if you're worried maybe have a quick word with the vet who did the op.
