Star dog has got a lump on her neck again.

Anyway, she's got anti biotics for it..

She just munches them down, on there own, as if it's a treat! do dogs normally do this or is she actually the greediest dog in the world?

What antibiotics are they? My cats eat synulox (I think that is how you spell it, pink ones) as if they are treats!

Yep, Tess eats hers down quite easily. As do the labs.

What did the vet say the lump was? Tess had a lump on the back of her neck, vet gave her an anti biotic injection (no tablets) and said to just keep an eye on it as he *thought* it was just a fatty lump (appar unusual for them to get them where hers was?) and also to work her on a halter as opposed to her normal slip lead or chain so that it wouldn't get irritated. Thankfully it's nearly gone now, you can barely notice unless you feel for it.

She had it about six months ago and they took a sample of it and it's not anything dodgy - she had a short course of anti biotics and it went down but its come right back up again. He's given her a longer course and hopefully it should go down for good.. I think it is something to do with her lead as well - we took her to a team chase and she was really naughty and strong on the lead all day and then the next day it came up. We are going to use her halter if she has to go on the lead for long periods now..

I have to hide pills in sausages and baked beans. Its the only way to get them down him - keep shoveling them in wth the beans and he keeps swallowing.

You are so lucky. My dogs know when there is a pill in something. I can chop it up small, I can grind it. I can add them to something extra tasty. But they know and on the floor after they have eaten the treat is a slimy pill. I have to shove it right down their throats followed swiftly by a bit of cheese. Lovely slimy hands every time.
