I can't tell for the life of me when my mare is in season, occassionally she has a bit of a thing for sniffing poo, but has to date no mareish behaviour?? Any clues on how I should know she is in season!!
Is this odd??

Obviously. But if that is the case, then she can be brought in to season chemically.

I had a mare once that never showed but take her to the stud and she would be like a tart possessed and be covered the next day and would hold too!
