Is this poisionous?

Mine girlie is always grabbing it whilst out hacking too! Don't know if it poisonous or not but she's still here so....!

I'm pretty sure its not the hemlock, the leaves look different.

If I pick any for her I'll be VERY careful its cow parlsey not Hemlock as I looked that up on google and sounds very nasty.
 
I don't think a horse is likely to touch hemlock really. Looks much more like cow parsley due to the amount growing. Are pics v recent though cos hasn't all the cow parslely now gone?
 
I garnish my mare's dinner with a sprig of cow parsley. She says it is very nice.

I think Hemlock grows more by water whereas Cow Parsley is a hedgerow thing.
 
Casnnot see the leaves, but could also be hogweed, which is still in flower at the moment.

Mine eat it with no ill effects and when its young humans can eat it too:
"Hogweed has often been used as a pot-herb. The young leaves, shoots and peduncles (stalks of the inflorescense) can be eaten. They can be cooked at a vegetable (wash and boil in salted water) or added to soups."
 
Which is the one with hollow stems, that if you get it on your skin can give you blisters

..... is that Giant Hogweed.... and if so, does it blister a horses tongue???
