Is this the worst renumerated horse job in the world ?

Saw this advert in a tack shop, was genuinely a bit shocked
" wanted help with 2 horses, turn out, rugs and muck out and ride, free grass livery for one horse offered in exchange"

By my reckoning, that's a minimum of 3 hrs a day, if both horses are ridden and I don't know of any grass livery that's costs more than £30 a week in this area, so assuming that the helper works 5 days a week, that works out as the equivalent of earning £2 an hour.

Depends how you read it I read it as a bit of a share in which case not so bad

On the face of it, it does seem poorly paid, but if you are time rich and cash poor it may be of use.

i suppose when you put it like that...

i have my mare at my friends yard.. includes field,stable and water free of charge

in return i keep and eye on 2 shetlands who live out 24/7 and a youngster who i bring in when mine comes in a few times a week
