Saw this advert in a tack shop, was genuinely a bit shocked
" wanted help with 2 horses, turn out, rugs and muck out and ride, free grass livery for one horse offered in exchange"
By my reckoning, that's a minimum of 3 hrs a day, if both horses are ridden and I don't know of any grass livery that's costs more than £30 a week in this area, so assuming that the helper works 5 days a week, that works out as the equivalent of earning £2 an hour.
