Is this unusual/bit off?

Just over a week ago I signed up for a hunt supporters club. I filled out all the details online and paid via paypal and received a receipt. I have heard nothing from them, not even an acknowledgement. Yesterday thinking this was a bit odd, I called the secretary, and it went straight to vml several times so I left a message. As I also had a couple of questions about their country/ meets as I am located on the edge of their territory, and not having heard from the sc chair, I called one of the secretaries and left a vml. Again I have heard nothing.

Is it just me thinking this a bit off? Unsure of what to do next. I have just bought a new hunter and was really excited for the coming season having not been able to go out properly for a few years and this has put a bit of a dampener on things.

I thought of holiday as well; the other phone numbers on the website go straight to vml. The 2nd number I called did ring and I left a message. Just a bit disappointed to have heard nothing at all.

I'd give them a few more days Rully. Today was the Festival of Hunting so many packs and their staff have been manic busy preparing, travelling and showing hounds/competing horses. There may well be an events card winging its way to you or on a desk waiting to be posted.

The hunt supporters club are the ones who organise the fund raising :) You really need to talk to the secretary but I would think it's just because it is off season so not much going on atm. It does tend to be a bit tricky as a newbie because people are worried about information getting into the wrong hands - do you know anyone involved who could vouch for you?

Hopefully they have just been a bit busy with the Festival. And yes, I would have people who could vouch for me...if only I were contacted! ;)

Yes it's a busy time of year and it's just drying and those who are farming and have hay/ silage to cut will be having a mad time. it's the hunt secretary you need to speak to about hunting have fun when you go out.
