Is using a plaster on a dog really going to work?

Bob trod on Islay's paw on Monday

She yelped when it happened, and I had a good look at her foot straight away but nothing seems broken (no heat or swelling, she doesnt mind me manipulating each toe in turn)

But she has a 3-4mm sore patch on the side of one toe, which is being touched by the neighbouring claw and is making her lame occasionally

So I have stuck a plaster on it tonight - is that really going to work I wonder?

I shall leave the plaster on for tonight since she isnt going outside much, then will vetwrap her tomorrow for maximum protection

LOL Hanandhen - I did expect Islay to eat it too, it is a measure of quite how lazy greyhounds are that she is still flat out asleep on the sofa enjoying the warm fire

I suspect it will be gone by tomrrow

I did think of putting some Sudocreme on it, but she just licks that all off
