Is your car messier than your horse's stable?

At the moment yes it is, its a right ruddy mess. I moved yards almost a month ago now and still have not got round to clearing it out, its full of hay and just generally filthy, I will do it soon, honest....:D
The front seat are fine which is all that mattes right now, I am clean and tidy for work as is the OH :D

yes!!!

my mums car is only two years old and it had to go in for an emergency repair and she had to repeatedly apologise for the state of her car,

- it smells of horse
- has hay all over it
- mud all over it
- has random empty feed bags in the boot
- empty water containers etc

its only a VW Polo!

so when they valeted it, it took twice as long as anyone else!! embarassing:(

Loads. Stable is tidy and mucked out daily. Car is covered in mud and assorted debris, inside and out and is mucked out when OH shouts at me! However, to be fair, horse cost more than car:D

that makes me feel better! i have a picanto. cant get anymore in the boot for rugs, hats, boxes of bute etc. back seat is full of jackets etc. front seats are minging. but it smells!! OH now beginning to refuse to get in it. ah well haha

I'm actually embarrassed of the inside of my car at the moment :o

I got in it yesterday and thought, what the heck is that smell? it was indeed my car. Must clean it . . . . .

Mine is a little Vauxhall Corsa! Can hardly move in there because there's stuff everywhere! I quite often have a saddle on the front seat next to me which usually ends up sliding across and covering up the gear stick!

OMG yes!

I tell anyone who wrinkles their nose that it's an anti-theft device and as such deliberate.

Mind you, I also tell people that the mud is caked on the outside to prevent the oxygen from reaching the bare metal and making the rust worse.....:D

I could bale up the straw in the car and sell it!! and the smell is GROSS i keep telling myself its fine................i never get asked for lifts anymore ;)
Q

My car is brand new... and it looks like my horse has been living in it for months

Mud (as well as horse crap I can imagine)
Shavings
Hay
Probably feed
Stinking horse jackets

And, because I'm on the road all the time...

Laptops
Work leaflets/stands/posters/freebies
Empty dinners (sandwich wrappers, crisp packets etc etc)
Many many coke/red bull cans
PENS
Clothes

.... and probably much more

YAK

Recently serviced the hunt pickup for MOT. The kennels are immaculate, the stables are immaculate, the grass is always trimmed and tidy. The pickup looks like an accident in a germwarfare laboratory.

My car was disgusting but it got MOTed and serviced on Thursday and they do a complimentary valet (which I bet they regret and I bet it took hours haha) so its lovely and clean atm :p

My car is a cross between a tackroom/feedroom/wardrobe for me and the ponies. The passenger footwell is usually like a you are what you eat example with wrappers and juice cans.
I did tidy it the other day as I was so embarassed when I went to get hay the other day and when I moved the seats the stuff in there was unreal. So its now relatively tidy but not for long. I found stuff I forgot existed including show schedules and catalogues form the summer lol & 3 pairs of shoes I forgot I had,

Actually no.... but I only got my car for xmas, my previous car however looks a state!

Although I have left a pile of dirty socks in my new car.... bummer! From the yard! haha

Not at the moment as I had it valeted on Friday!! I have to have it done once a month or so as it gets filthy and stinks to high heaven. I always have to apologise when people get in my car....I just know its getting bad when I can smell it!!
