Isabell Werth Dressage saddles...

I have synthetic one - absolutely love mine. I've always hated synthetic saddles, but as this one had leather girth straps its great. I'd have thought you can get them flocked..... i've had other wintecs with changeable gullets which were flocked.

Once i've saved up enough pennies i'd like to upgrade to a leather version. I bought my current one off ebay, 6 mnths old with a tiny patch on cantle which had been professionally repaired (and now completely unnoticeable), for around £350 including postage, which personally i thought was a bit of a bargain!

Utterly convereted by this saddle. ANd so was my trainer. One of the most comfy saddles i have ever riddn in. WOuld have anothr like a shot esp on a young growing horse :)

I still own a double grain leather one back in Australia and it's the best dressage saddle I have owned! Super comfy and really helped with my position.

They are great once you get your leg length right... until then expect to be a forward leaner like I was lol

I am now pondering one but would love one that had interchanagable gullets, as I don't think they do :(

The IW does have interchangable gullets! :)

And I've ridden 3 different horses in the IW, no leaning forward, so I think I'm ok with that...

Dare I say :eek: I didnt like it
I found it felt too bulky between my thighs if you know what I mean :D

Not every body likes every saddle, so that's fair enough :) I've only ever sat on a WOW once, briefly, but I think I got the sort of feeling you're on about from it.... didn't help saddle was on a 15.3hh Cob though :o

Luckily I didn't have that problem (I think I would remember... but cant be certain!) although I do remember my hips hurting when doing lateral work... but had the same issue in another saddle so think that may be just me! Narrow pelvis combined with the strange things I do when I try to ask for more complicated lateral movements, not good! :p
Will have to have a thorough experiment at weekend....!
