Does anyone know how much a brand new Isabell wintec dressage saddle is...need to pass the advice onto a friend. Obviously all saddlers can change their price tags, but wanted to know the average
I'm Aussie and Wintec saddles are made by Bates Down Under - http://www.wintec.net.au/products/dressage/dressageIsabell.html. (I'm a newbie on your forum so I hope it's ok to post links!!) I don't know how much the Wintec Isabell retails at in your area, but there are lots available second hand in Oz. If you want some more info on where to find them message me.
Also be aware that a number of highly regarded Master Saddlers are taking CAIR out of Wintecs - and after my personal enquiries about CAIR they have all told me to avoid it.
After much discussion recently on an Aussie based horse orientated forum, I am sure that flocked is a better option. If CAIR works for your horse great.... but I would only consider flocked.
Had this discussion with my saddler last week. Apparently the CAIR works O.K. in the leather version, but isn't very good at all in the synthetic version as the panels weren't designed to take CAIR.
