Hi currently ride my veteran horse in a ideal Suzannah, love the saddle but struggling with the weight of it and with my mare being older now I would like something light weight.
Ideally a synthetic saddle but struggling to find something as deep seated and supportive as the Suzannah, considering a Wintec Isabelle. Any feedback on them especially compared to the Suzannah

I rode in a Wintec Isabelle, but it was a good few years ago now. I remember that I really liked it as it was comfortable and deep without being too restrictive. I’ve not ridden in an Ideal Suzannah however so can only comment on the Isobelle. If I was looking for a lightweight dressage saddle I’d be looking at the Isobelle.

My friends got one for her warmblood who I have ridden several times it's actually an OK saddle its a fairly old one as well I would imagine the newer ones are better, would I compare it to an Ideal not really and I don't think I would use one instead of an Ideal in my opinion they are a far better saddle but I'm not a fan of synthetic full stop.

I understand you want something lighter and I think the only way to know for sure is actually try it out before you part with your lovely Ideal.
