Isle of Man livery yards

Hello

Moving over soon and looking for recommendations for livery yards to check out.

Good hacking a must, but I'm somewhat flexible as to everything else! Probably 5 day livery if available ...

Also, anyone know about hiring transport to get down to the beach? Is there a company that does that?

Kennaa Equestrian Centre.

Have a couple of friends with horses here. Very good facilities and onsite competition.

Hi OP, I live in IOM ... which part of the island are you moving to? Just to give me some idea about what yards would be near you. I've heard good things about Kenna too, as above post x

Kennaa is probably your closest yard in that case. There is also Ballavartyn in Santon, which isn't too far from you. They have good facilities too & my friend who is there seems happy. Pretty good hacking at both those yards I'd have said.

There did used to be someone who did transport, I can't remember his name but will look into it for you. There's a Manx Equestrian facebook page, which would be good for you to join too & maybe ask about transport. I'll check what it's called x

Equestrian Isle of Man is the FB page. Everyone seems pretty helpful. Welcome to the IOM btw, it's a nice place to live. Feel free to pm me if you want to swap numbers. I can recommend farriers, vets, physios etc if you need x
