isle of wight??

we have just sold our two fell colts to the isle of wight,what is it like there????
this year our fell foals are well travelled a couple of months one went to devon now these to the I/of/W .

Some parts are really lovely and some parts are just nice, but all O.K. Where abouts on the IOW have they gone? Sparks used to be kept near Ventnor (where the land slips and the houses fall down!!!) really nice though, lots of long rides over Ventnor Downs with Highland cattle. We never made it to the beach as were warned that in places there is Quick Sand (knowing my luck I would have found it!!).

That must be near East Cowes then. Not sure what the ridings like round there, but the fields you could see from the road on the way to the ferry were always lovely and green.

Part of the IOW is quite nice but a lot of it is really scummy (sorry to anyone who lives there...but it is, in my opinion).......think shell-suits and gold sovereign rings
