yesterday i sat for a hour with my boy harry, everyone was gone from the yard, was about 5.30, and i took him for a stole just leading him, on the road that leads to the off road hacking, no car's ever there..

and he was grazing away, and i sat down, watching him, and his expressions and listening to what he was listening to.. i heard so much! So much nature goes on around us that we don't normally notice.

ahh! so amazing, anyone else done this? pointless post, but still

Bliss, i love the yard when everyone is gone and it is just me and the sounds of them munching their haylege. So peaceful. I do what you do too, just sit and take it all in.

I love sitting on the field gate and watching Lucy in the field and when we're out hacking just Lucy and i, i often just stop and look at the countryside around and listen to the wildlife.
Glad it's not just me.
