even pre CV madness things were quiet......he outgrew his saddle (again!) and then went to stud for dummy training so aside from bareback potters not much was achieved!
After much saddle searching and trials, and pictures and videos and talking to so many people my head was fried I eventually surrendered any thoughts of riding in a dressage saddle and we have gone with a black country classic show saddle for now.......made for native ponies and their dippy, flat, rotund barrels it seems to fit like a glove and he feels much happier again so we can at least crack on with training
we hired an indoor on sun (in total isolation i hasten to add and didn't touch a thing i even took my own mounting block!) so hears a few pics and vids from that-CC as always welcome.....canter transitions i know are tense but still getting over the previous saddle upset BUT neck is more out, contact is more forward, nose is more IFV so lots to be pleased with.
