It appears we have a ball tree in the garden

Us humans would call it an apple tree but according to our flyball loving cocker it's an endless supply of balls for us to throw. Don't worry he doesn't eat them - just drops increasingly manky, soggy specimins on my lap for me to throw

Just be very careful about wasps, they are getting dozzy this time of year and can munch its way into an apple and I would hate to think of a dog picking this up.

All my dogs love apples and often get a piece as a treat.

Ha! Must be heaven for him though, that endless supply. Ours (a Foxterrier) always tries to pick up apples and tennis balls, but they're usually just a tad too big for him...
