...that the KC accredited dog trainer who lives nearby has two very vicious dogs both of whom have attacked other dogs. One beautiful GSD who just tried to pull his owner across the road to get to at Jack. The other is a morbidly obese spangle :(.

I do try not to judge but they've had them for as long as I can remember and they behaviour has never improved so even if they were remedial, they've not gotten anywhere.

I stopped holding any faith in that endorsement a long time ago.

Anyone can pay for it. Apologies to anypne on here who has it and is responsible, but the story of one user and her epileptic, dysplatic puppy who she was pretty much guilt-tripped into buying by an 'accredited' 'breeder' makes me want to puke.

Ditto this, I don't think the word accredited holds much weight when issued by the KC. It seems that there are breeders under their much hyped Accredited Breeder scheme who are little more than puppy farms.
You couldn't pm me the name of this trainer could you, my brother is looking for a trainer for a friend (or should I say a friends dog) in the Newport area, would be good to know who to avoid.:p
