Yeah your so sad your giving the poor chap away for free!
Poor boy hope he does not end up being passed from pillar to post or end up with some dodgy dealer.
Why cant people do the decent thing?

You never know, free to a good home could mean that and they may be really fussy about the home in which the horse goes to

If I was in the market for a hack (which maybe he is, it says needs a quieter life, not that he's decrepid) then thats the kind of hack I'd look for tbh, free - brilliant!

After having taken our 26 yr old ex-racer out for his first hack in a year today I remember why he doesn't go out that often, cos he's a complete t*t!

Don't you think it's better to give it free to a good home than send it to the knackers yard? Surely free to a good home gives rise to the opportunity for the horse to go to someone who has their own land but perhaps doesn't want to ride rather than the current owner possibly having to spend a fortune keeping it at livery. Always a tricky one when you don't know the situation fully
