I've had one vet free day this week. On sat i had to rush my puppy charlie brown to the vets as he was vometting and having a fit. At first they thought he had epolepsy but now they think he had eatern some slug pellets while out on a walk it was touch and go as to weather he was going to make it and he was in intensive care saterday night and sunday. He was able to come home on monday afternoon. Tuesday was vet free and wednesday the vet came to check on charlie and vaccinate my pony lucy. She also looked at some lumps lucy has on her neck. The vet thinks it is her limph glands up due to a viral infection but I was told to keep an eye on them and if they didn't go down in a week or two the vet would take a cell sample to see if it is something more sinister. Today i got lucy in only to find she had blood coming out of both eyes. I called the vet out again as i was worried it may have something to do with the lumps. It turns out she had probably just been eating out of the apple tree and got poked in both her eyes by branches (only lucy could manage that). i was told to keep an eye on her tonight and call the vet in the morning with an up date. Charlie has made a full recovery now thank god but i'm not looking forward to my vet bill and just hope nothings to wrong with lucy but my animals will always come first as i'm shore most on here will understand and i'll find the money from somewhere.
Sorry to go on but i feel abit better now.
A nice treat for anyone who got to the end.
