as I'm sure you will all know that dreadful day in New York.
But, it was also 11 years ago, at 2pm on that bright sunny afternoon that I said a fond goodbye to our old companion pony Miri. A saint of a pony, retired from a riding school where he had taught many a child for nearly 20 years. He had hunted before that and in his twilight years he lived happily with us grazing in the field and watching the sunset for his last chapter over 5 years we had him.
He was 36, and we knew it wasn't fair to put him through another winter. We had arranged for the vet to come on that day weeks prior.
He is at our old place, buried with the best view any living thing could wish for, overlooking the valley.
So, at 2pm, on sept 11, Gods gates opened for hundreds of people in America, and I like to think Miri led them. He certainly would have loved that!
