in new born kittens and possibly pups. Met our new neighbours who seem like nice(ish) people. They are from Sicily and are very warm hearted and generous as most Sicilians are. Chatting away re vets in the area etc, Rosario the husband let me into a secret. To stop worm infestation in kittens and possibly pups you break the end of their tails where the worms are hiding ready to savage the new born. WHAT THE F**K!!! We have sent men to the moon etc etc and people in Europe still believe this C**P!! The guy wasnt taking the "Michael", he was honestly giving me some advice. Mairi.

Ps, hes about 30 yrs old so can read and write like the rest of us.

I was so gobbed smacked that I couldnt think of a reply. This is the guy who told me that he wants to buy a yearling so that he can train it to his own methods and they can grow together (he wants to bring it here to me) NOOOOooooooooo!!!!! Mairi.

Are there any animal welfare education programmes (not the TV type) in Italy?
