Italian Spinone dogs

Hello,

Moved in recently with my OH and he has an Italian Spinone who is just fab. Love her to bits. We are thinking about getting another one, but they are so hard to come by! Does anyone else out there have a Spinone?

There is one at our local pub. They had the old one PTS with a tumour recently and now have an enormous great pup, with huge feet. She is lovely.

I have a spinone X lagotto who is a great dog. I think if you are interested in getting one your best bet is to try and find the details of the breed club/society who should be able to give you a list of breeders that may be local to you.

I don't have one but I would really like one! Does you OH work her? they are such clever and intelligent dogs, I run the gundog scurry at our local country fair and was very impressed by one there. A big too big and hairy for our little house though!

I have a spinone x lab come into the kennels quite a lot - its fab! Lovely natured dog. It was a deliberate cross, and looks a bit like a wire haired pointer. Don't think I could cope with a spinone's coat though - I find it hard enough to keep my terriers brushed + tat free!

No, Amber isn't worked, but she knows her job and can do it all with a teddy bear! She's a big softy and lovely with it, so very well behaved. She is big and hairy and she does look a bit wild when she's not been stripped but she's great for cuddling!

Can't wait to get another!
