Hi all
A bit of advice if anyone has any would be greatly appreciated!
My 6 year old lab who lives inside has recently developed calluses on his elbows and hocks. They are really quite hard, and at biggest the size of a 5p. I wondered if anyone has successfuly treated them so they are not sore?
Coincidently (I dont know whether the two are related or seperate incidents) he has developed a lump on the back of his neck - pea size, moves around under the skin and not painful to touch/prod/poke!! - that originated as a scab, that then fell off and left the lump. Took him to the vet who gave us steroid cream which did nothing, an said not to worry about it. She didnt think it was an infected tic (as was my worry) or a bite - I am taking him for a second opinion next week but wondered if anyone else has seen anything similar? This morning I came down to find a similar lump on his hind leg - very small but obviously itchy to him and it had a scab on it?
Would be grateful of any advice
xx
